The popular event series “Weinbaumuseum am Abend” will be continued after a 17-month Corona break. The 13 young winemakers from Mainwerk³ will present their current wines. This time, however, the honorary wine tasting manager Hendrik Ruitenberg welcomes the guests in the Hummelpark and not, as usual, in the historic vaulted cellar of the Hochheim wine museum. There would be too few guests in the museum due to the corona.
Mainwerk³ was founded in mid-2018. As early as October 2018, the young winemakers delighted the guests of the “Weinbaumuseum am Abend” with their stories and wines.
The Main can be found in the naming of the young winegrowers’ association, on the slopes of which the vines grow. The “three” stands for the places involved or the “superscript three” as a measure of space for the Upper Rheingau region, which, in the opinion of the up-and-coming young winemakers, is often neglected. “Werk” stands for the craftsmanship behind the product.
Since the beginning of 2021, two more young winemakers have joined the group of winemakers from Hochheim, Wicker and Kostheim. Philipp Allendorf from the Weidenmühle winery and Marina Mitter from the Mitter-Velten winery complete the group consisting of: Anja Schäfer, Janine Preis, Juliana Venino, Katharina Flick, Clemens Rosenkranz, Clemens Weilbächer, David Bott, Matthias Scherbaum, Peter Flick, Simon Schreiber, & amp ; Vincent Price.
